The Harbes Family has been operating their Mattituck farmstand for over 30 years. Originally a modest gazebo staffed by the family’s eldest son, the farmstand and Harbes Family Farm has evolved into one of the North Fork’s most popular farm destinations. Although three decades have passed, one thing has remained the same, the Harbes commitment to offering delicious food choices and only the best farm-fresh produce on the North Fork.
Harbes Barnyard Adventure is the paid admission area of Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck. We have 8 acres (the same as 6 football fields put together!) for visitors to explore. At this family-friendly attraction, you’ll discover hands-on learning experiences including interactions with farm animals and a chick observatory. There are also fun and games for all ages such as our Gnome Hedge Maze, Jumbo Jumpers Bounce Pillows, trike track, sports zone, playgrounds, and so much more. We offer pig races and musical hayride tours on weekends, holidays, and Fridays
