Education for long term healthcare workers that is both preliminary and on-going and 2)chronic and acute emergency care; 3) promotion of communication and collaboration among all LTC disciplines; 4)community education, encouragement of citizen participation in programs to better serve our mission; 5)program sponsorship to promote understanding of issues and patient safety; 6)programs include: opportunities for St. John's University Physician Assistant and high school students (starting with Mattituck High School) to visit healthcare facilities and homes with LTC patients; 7)scholarship support.
