DESCRIPTION:A MID-WINTER CELEBRATION OF ARTS\, CULTURAL AND FAMILY FRIENDLY\n\nACTIVITIES ON LONG ISLAND\, NEW YORK.\n\n \n\nMeet the Farmers\, the Bakers\, the Makers\, the Performers\, the Artists\, the Musicians and the Chefs of Long Island. Sit by fireplaces sipping wine\, enjoy winter sunsets and live entertainment.\n\nSince 2007\, Winterfest has featured several weeks of live music and cultural events which highlight the region and during the off season with less traffic and more intimate experiences. In 2020\,  almost live music was allowed under the pandemic shutdown. For 2021\, many places are now struggling with staffing and other issues. BUT we are happy to finally have live music back on the schedule even if still a bit scaled back from our history.  We really look forward to getting back to normal in the future! In the meantime keep supporting your local businesses\, particularly those in arts\, entertainment\, hospitality and tourism\, and especially all of those who put together some extra fun for you during Winterfest.
